Custom Prayers, Balancing & Daily Perks
The biggest content drop yet. A brand-new Custom Prayer system introduces eleven unique prayers, each with a dedicated unlock source. Boss combat mechanics have been retuned for a more comfortable grind. The Damage Reduction talent tree has been rebalanced across the board. Tiered Slayer Helms gain on-task DR. Daily Server Perks go live. And a full donator rank rework brings Earl through Primordial up to date.
Custom Prayers — Full Rework
The Custom Prayer system has been completely overhauled. Eleven distinct prayers are now available, each providing a unique set of bonuses — and crucially, each one must be unlocked through gameplay rather than being freely accessible. Prayers are obtained by acquiring specific scroll items dropped from various bosses and content across the game, rewarding engagement with the full breadth of Xalor's content for players who want to build the strongest possible prayer loadout.
The unlock source for each prayer is listed alongside its stats below.
The updated Custom Prayer interface.
High risk, high reward — DR at a steep damage cost.
Prayer Unlock Sources — Drop Previews
Each prayer is unlocked by obtaining its corresponding scroll from a specific content source. The drop interfaces for each source are shown below.
Mystery Man — Treasure Hunter Prayer scroll (1/1,000).
Artemis — Gambler's Pact Prayer scroll (1/1,000).
Slayer Points Shop — Executioner's Zeal Prayer (50,000 pts).
Yugioh Key — Twin Strike Prayer scroll (1/500).
Blazing Pits — Overcharge Prayer scroll.
Mass Boss — Raider's Curse Prayer scroll (1/50).
Vote Boss — Raider's Curse Prayer scroll (1/100).
Gladiator Boss — Raider's Curse Prayer scroll (1/500).
Single & Elite Bosses — Mechanics Rebalance
Boss combat mechanics have been reviewed and retuned following player feedback. The overall direction is to make these bosses more comfortable to grind consistently while retaining their mechanical identity. Several overtuned elements have been dialled back, and debuff interactions have been tightened to prevent stacking scenarios from compounding unfairly.
Mystery Man
- Special attack proc chance reduced from 10% → 5%. NERF
- If Mystery Man triggers his special attack while the player is already affected by the Bleeding debuff, the bleed duration will no longer be refreshed. The debuff must expire before a new application can begin.
Poseidon
- Drowning debuff duration reduced from 20s → 13s. NERF
- Damage interval changed from every 2.4s → every 4.2s. NERF
- Per-tick damage increased from 5% → 20% of the player's maximum HP. BUFF
- If the Drowning debuff is already active when Poseidon triggers his special, the debuff duration will no longer refresh. Same interaction model as Mystery Man's bleed.
📋 Poseidon note: The drowning debuff now hits harder per tick but fires less frequently and expires sooner. Total maximum damage over the full duration is reduced compared to before — the change trades sustained threat for sharper but shorter bursts.
Artemis
- Special attack damage changed from two fixed hits of 700 to two random hits ranging between 20–65. NERF The special is now far less punishing on proc, bringing Artemis more in line with other bosses at her tier.
Damage Reduction — Talent Adjustments
The Defender talent tree has been adjusted as part of a wider rebalancing of incoming damage mitigation across the game. Both tiers have been reduced in per-level value, but now apply to all damage sources — including debuffs and special attack ticks — rather than only standard hits.
Defender I — updated talent values.
Defender II — updated talent values.
| Talent | Per Level (Before) | Per Level (After) | Max Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Defender I | 5% | 2.5% | 12.5% at max rank |
| Defender II | 7.5% | 5% | 15% at max rank |
💡 Note: Both talents now apply universally to all incoming damage — standard hits, special attacks, and debuff ticks alike. The reduction in per-level values is offset by the significantly wider application scope.
Tiered Slayer Helms — Damage Reduction Added
All tiers of the Slayer Helmet now grant flat damage reduction against your assigned Slayer boss task. This is in addition to the existing on-task stat and drop rate bonuses, and further cements the helmet chain as the definitive Slayer-focused gear investment.
Tiered Slayer Helm on-task damage reduction values.
| Tier | Damage Reduction (On-Task) |
|---|---|
| Base Slayer Helm | −10% damage taken |
| T1 Slayer Helm | −15% damage taken |
| T2 Slayer Helm | −20% damage taken |
| T3 Slayer Helm | −25% damage taken |
| T4 Slayer Helm | −30% damage taken |
Damage Plunder — Scroll Adjustments
Damage scroll bonuses in the Damage Plunder minigame have been reduced across all tiers to bring the minigame's reward ceiling in line with the wider damage ecosystem following the formula and modifier changes made in previous updates.
Updated Damage Plunder scroll bonus values.
| Scroll Tier | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 2% | 1% |
| Tier 2 | 5% | 3% |
| Tier 3 | 10% | 6% |
| Tier 4 | 25% | 15% |
| Tier 5 | 50% | 25% |
Daily Server Perks — Introduced
A new Daily Server Perk system has been added to the game. Each day of the week provides the entire server with a different bonus, rewarding consistent daily play and giving players reason to engage with different content depending on the day. Bonuses apply server-wide and do not require anything to activate — log in and you're automatically benefiting.
Additionally, the full weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) provides ×2 EXP as a standing bonus on top of the individual daily perks.
| Day | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Monday | −10% damage taken |
| Tuesday | +10% final damage |
| Wednesday | +50 DR (flat) |
| Thursday | +10% critical hit chance |
| Friday | +25% Battlepass EXP · ×2 EXP (weekend) |
| Saturday | +25% Slayer Points · ×2 EXP (weekend) |
| Sunday | +1 Raid Key (all raids) · ×2 EXP (weekend) |
Donator Ranks — Full Rework
All donator ranks from Earl through to Primordial have been fully reworked. Perks, thresholds, and benefits have been revised to better reflect the value of each tier and provide a clearer, more rewarding progression through the donor hierarchy.
Full details on every rank, its requirements, and the perks associated with each tier are available in the Guides section:
QoL & Bug Fixes
Quality of Life
- Global boss drop tables now display correct MY RATE values. Since Drop Rate does not apply to global bosses, the displayed rates now reflect this accurately rather than showing inflated DR-adjusted figures.
- Dub Potions now provide a base 5% chance to double drops. Additional modifiers — including Custom Prayers such as Golden Touch — can stack on top of this base chance.
- Critical Damage now deals 50% more than the original hit value, up from its previous amount. BUFF
- Yugioh Raid base key yield per run increased from 1 → 2. BUFF
- Removed bonus attack speed from Vote Scrolls. REMOVED
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where some players were unable to claim rewards for completed achievements. Claim validation now correctly recognises all eligible players. FIXED
- Fixed Morrigan's drop table incorrectly awarding the wrong quantity of $1 Bonds. FIXED
